I am pretty happy. And sore. Friday, I was (finally) cleared to workout again! I am thrilled! I’m happy to be healthy and I was so excited to get started that I immediately started C25K and jumped back into my tone it up workouts that day!

I was recently asked if I had any advice for the parents of young children in our church. You may be surprised at what that advice was. It had nothing to do with spending quality time with your kids, or the pros and cons of home schooling. My advice was this; work on your marriage.
We got the house all decorated in the school colors black and orange, with lots of flowers and balloons. I made a cute banner for the fireplace in the living room with black and white photos of my son and his girlfriend and cute chalkboard style 2015 clothespins I found in the Target dollar bins.

Hello divas! I hope that your week has gotten off to a fabulous start. My Monday was a bit on the busy side but I got home to have a package waiting at my door. As part of my getting back to healthy eating, I have decided to try Shakeology as a way to help get all my nutrients in for the day. So today I thought that I would share a new, easy healthy recipe – my snickerdoodle protein smoothie.
Another protein packed dinner salad for these hot summer days! Turkey, bacon, and avocado together is one of my all time favs. Add a creamy dill dressing to the mix and you’ve got a winner! Yum
